You’ll like this.  Trust me. (It’s hard to get a good picture of pork).

Braised cola marinated pork

Marinate 1 lb pork shoulder in cola.  Overnight is best.  Brown all over in a dutch oven and add enough chicken stock to at least go halfway up the meat – 4 cups did it for me.  Add one onion, sliced (halved and sliced is plenty small enough), half a jalapeno (or more, depending on your preferred heat level), a couple bay leaves, and a pinch of ground cumin and cinnamon (sticks or ground will do).

Stick it in the oven at 350 degrees for 3 hours or until it completely falls apart.  Turn halfway through.

Remove from pot.  It should be difficult to take out because it’s falling apart so much.  Shred.  Serve on hot tortillas with some avocado and sour cream.  Spoon some onions & jalapenos from the pot onto the tortilla, too.  The leftover broth is spectacular boiled down a bit as a dipper.  Swoon.
